DESCRIPTION
Hand carved corkscrew with a hand making a “figa” gesture, 
The gesture is most commonly used to ward off the evil eye, or insult someone, or deny a request. It has been used at least since the Roman Age in Southern Europe and parts of the Mediterranean region.

Each finger has a brass nail. 

Comes from antique market in north of Italy.

Light tarnish on metal components
